Gas strut conversion kit to fit all rear doors on Defender models 1983-2002 (before they used the one piece doors)

This comes with everything you need to convert from the old check strap bar type to the gas strut type

This neat and easily installed gas strut kit will solve that problem and replaces the original door stopper.

The gas strut will hold the door in place when open - even with a spare wheel in place - and will assist in the opening of the rear door too with a smoother and more controlled movement.

Quality kit manufactured in England. The brackets used are made from heavy duty thick steel that has been zinc plated for longevity

Some trimming to your door card will be needed as these were not fitted to Defenders originally so any door card available is not made with the appropriate cut out.
