JWP3007 - LHD Galvanised Bulkhead To Fit Defender 1983 - 1998 - Puma Style Solid Vents (S) - Painted to Colour Optional
This is made with the solid puma style vents so you can have the look of a later model and still fit the bulkead to your earlier vehicle.
These are one of the best if not THE best quality bulkheads on the market. We are the only company that presses each component in one stage. Other companies will press each fold or indent one stage at a time which is slow (hence why we can do these at such a good price) and also leads to inaccuracies.
This is compatible for Defender models 1983-1998 (Pre Td5) These are technically made to 300tdi spec, the only Difference between 300tdi bulkheads and earlier bulkheads is that the 300tdi has some extra brackets on the engine bay side for the extra fuse box and also for the chassis wiring loom to clip onto. As standard we just fit these so if you do not need them (ie you have an earlier model) you just dont use them. What is great they do not get in the way of anything else on earlier models so makes sense to include them. Also makes ordering much more simple as if you have a pre 1998 RHD Defender then this is the one for you.

2.25 petrol or Diesel 2.5NA Diesel 2.5 Petrol 2.5Td 200tdi 300tdi 3.5 and 3.9V8 models
These are made completely in house by us in our factory in England. Every pressing is exactly as original. This is not to be confused with some others on the market which are made from multiple smaller bits folded and then welded and ground ground into shape.
For example, the main inner and outer upper pressing is pressed completely in one go. We are the only company making these bulkheads other than Land Rover themselves, that presses these comepltely in one go. Not only does mean it is as per factory spec, it also improves the accuracy of the part as less room for error.
The footwells have the correct ribs pressed in them exactly as the factory item. Every little pressed indent, or recess, as factory, no matter how trivial they are, are pressed exactly the same as original.
We have gone for a single skin on the footwells as using double layer is just asking for trouble as these parts are always the most vulnerable part of the bulkhead. Double skinned footwells have an increased chance of not getting fully galvanised between the layers, the holding of moisture and dirt between the layers and the ultimate rusting out. We have increased the thickness of the footwells as well as pressing the strenghening ribs in them, to ensure they are still as strong as orginal, but without any of the risk of rust.
This bulkhead is the perfect combination of being pressed exactly as original but without the double skinned footwells which is the weakness of others.
Unlike others available, all of the threaded holes are free and clear of zinc so not time wasted retapping threads. Every bracket is attached to the bulkhead that you may require so makes fitting these a lot simpler and quicker than others.
The reason we can do these at such good quality but also a fantastic price is because we have funded the tooling for these completely on our own and in house. We have no investors to answer too.

As with any hot dipped galvanised item, there may be lumps, bumps, rough areas or areas that are more textured than other areas. This is completely normal and in line with any galvanised item. Naturally they do take more prep time than a non galvanised bulkhead. Again the same with any galvanised product.
