This is a UK manufactured battery frame top to clamp down your battery to stop the battery moving & the terminals becoming loose.

This can now save you from using an old rachet strap to hold it down

This cover has internal dimensions of 30.5cmx 18cm so it will fit a battery of these dimensions.

This part number 577020 refers to fitting Series petrol 2.25 engines pre 1980 & there are other part numbers beginning with NRC for series battery frames for diesel engines etc but in reality is is down to the type of battery you have fitted as this could have changed over the years.

This battery frame is commonly held down with J Bolts.
